Workplace training your team will actually remember six months later.

We design and deliver training built for adults at work — with real scenarios, plain English, and outcomes you can measure. From training-needs analysis to course development, delivery and validation, all in one engagement or any combination of the four.

Training Solutions

Why this matters

Compliance training fails the moment people stop paying attention..

You can engage us for any one of these, or run a complete cycle from analysis through validation. Most clients start with a needs analysis and let the rest follow from there.

You’ve seen the slides. Read aloud, ticked off, forgotten by Tuesday. The certificate goes in the file, the behaviour doesn’t change, and the next near-miss looks exactly like the last one.

Queon designs training the other way around. We start by working out what someone needs to do differently when they leave the room, then build the shortest, sharpest course that gets them there. Sometimes that’s a half-day workshop. Sometimes it’s a five-minute video and a checklist. Whatever it takes — and no more. The framework looks impressive on paper. The register is colour-coded. The board signs off. Then nothing changes on the ground because the people running the controls don’t know they exist, or were never shown how to use them.

The four pillars

One discipline, applied end to end.

You can engage us for any one of these, or run a complete cycle from analysis through validation. Most clients start with a needs analysis and let the rest follow from there.

01

Training needs analysis

Before we build anything, we work out what your people actually need to learn — and what they already know.

  • Capability gap interviews

  • Role-based competency mapping

  • Existing-material audit

  • Recommendations report and learning plan

02

Course development & updates

New courses built from scratch, or existing material refreshed to current standards and modern delivery formats.

  • Learning outcomes and assessment design

  • Facilitator guides and participant workbooks

  • Slide decks, videos and job aids

  • Compliance mapping where required

03

Course delivery

We facilitate on site, online, or in a blended mix — with experienced trainers who’ve worked the floor in the sectors we serve.

  • On-site workshops at your premises

  • Live online sessions for distributed teams

  • Train-the-trainer for internal capability

  • Multi-cohort programs across multiple sites

04

Training validation

The piece most providers skip. We measure whether training actually changed behaviour — and report it to your board or regulator.

  • Pre- and post-training capability assessment

  • Behavioural follow-up at 30 and 90 days

  • ASQA-aligned validation reports

  • Continuous improvement recommendations

Delivery Formats

The format that fits the learning — not the other way around.

The same content can land brilliantly in one format and fail in another. We propose the mix that suits your team, locations and time frames.

On Site

Workshops, simulations, and team sessions delivered at your premise.

Best for:

hands-on skills and culture-shifting work.

Live Online

Real-time sessions for distributed teams — structured for engagement, not lectured at people from a slide deck.

Best for:

Multi-site teams, regulatory updates, knowledge transfer

Blended

Self-paced material before, live session in the middle, application back on the job after. Most retention, lowest disruption.

Best for:

Complex topics, large rollouts, ongoing programs

How we design training

Six principles, every course.

Drawn from adult learning research and twenty-plus years of watching what sticks — and what gets forgotten.

02

Adults learn by doing

Practical exercises, scenarios and decision-making sit at the centre of every session.

03

Plain English, always

If a 17-year-old apprentice and a 65-year-old manager can’t both follow it, we rewrite it.

01

Start from the job, not the syllabus

Every course begins with what the learner has to do back at work, not what we’d like them to know.

04

Short, then shorter

The right course is the shortest one that achieves the outcome. We cut, not pad.

05

Measure behaviour, not attendance

A signed attendance sheet proves nothing. We measure what people do differently afterwards.

06

Refresh on a schedule

Skills decay. Every program includes a refresh plan so capability doesn’t quietly slip away.

Commonly asked

Questions clients ask before engaging us.

Are you a registered training organisation?

No — we’re a consulting firm that works alongside RTOs and in-house training teams. We don’t issue nationally recognised qualifications ourselves. If you need accredited delivery, we’ll partner with an RTO and run the design and validation work; if you’re an RTO, we’ll support your existing scope.

How do you cost a training engagement?

Fixed fee per deliverable, agreed in writing before any work starts. Course development is typically priced per module, delivery per session or per cohort, and validation per qualification or program. We’ll give you a written proposal after the first conversation.

Can you update existing courses, or do you only build new ones?

Updates are often the better-value option. We’ll review what you have, identify what’s still working, and focus effort on the parts that need rebuilding rather than starting again. Many engagements end up half new, half refreshed.

What does training validation actually involve?

For RTOs, validation is a structured review against the relevant training-package and ASQA standards — assessment tools, evidence, judgement consistency, and feedback loops. For non-RTO clients, validation usually means measuring whether training has changed behaviour on the job, with pre- and post-assessments and follow-up at 30 and 90 days.

Can you deliver training in regional locations?

Yes. We work across VIC and NSW regularly, and we travel further for multi-site rollouts. Online and blended formats keep regional engagements affordable when on-site time isn’t essential

Do you handle the LMS side, or just the content?

We focus on content, design and delivery — we’re not an LMS vendor. We work with whatever platform you already use and will produce SCORM-compatible files where required. If you don’t have an LMS yet, we’ll point you at a couple of options that suit your scale.
